Despite losing the bulk of its client base after the UIGEA, Party has worked hard to cling onto its international demographic and through some nifty marketing techniques they remain the fourth largest poker room.

Although the site doesn’t offer many ultra-high stakes games there is still enough action at the low and mid-stakes to keep the average player happy.

Type of games offered

For those players looking to don their Stetsons, saddle up and ride into the badlands of the mixed games there’s going to be some disappointment.

Unlike the other top four sites, Party Poker doesn’t offer players mixed games such as H.O.R.S.E; however, it does offer all forms of Hold’em and Omaha, as well as 7 card stud. While the Hold’em and Omaha tables are brimming with action the stud tables are less busy which explains why mixed games aren’t offered.

Some established players might struggle to expand their poker horizons, but the newer players can take advantage of the beginner tables for first time depositors. Here the newbies can work on their games without too much fear of being seated next to a seasoned shark.

Party are renowned for their satellites and with so many major events almost every week there are few better places to qualify for a pittance than Party.
